Salam, I’m Arya Rashid

I’m a Persian/Afghan/American strategist, storyteller, and systems builder working at the intersection of politics, media, and tech.

I design narrative infrastructure, civic tools, and bold brands that help people organize, mobilize, and win.

I’m the founder of Pulsar Campaigns, co-founder of Revrnt, and the architect behind Rubix Labs—a civic-tech R&D studio building tools like Know Your Rep and the Intelligent Strategic Engine (ISE) to support movements with power and precision.

I split time between Sacramento and Palo Alto, but my work lives wherever there’s a mission worth scaling.

A bit about me

2013-2017

Saving the world 😂

Working as CMO for a moonshot solar thermal startup called Tenkiv I learn to employ guerilla marketing tactics to run lean and have high impact. I help focus our brand, leading the company to a successful Kickstarter campaign, and an award for the most innovative company of the year.

I run a weekly vlog documenting our challenges and culture, which ultimately leads to being courted for potential acquisition by honeywell homes.

My experience at Tenkiv challenged, refined, and expanded my toolset in building brands, story telling, go to market strategies.

2018

revrnt

Building on the skills and network I developed while at Tenkiv, I launch my own creative agency with two partners. At our inception we focused on video production and media asset generation in the Clean Tech space. Helping many companies and organization build compelling brands all over California. Some of our clients include:
- Momentum
- Cleanstart
- Anaergia
- Aemetis
- Agstart
and many more...

Looking Inward

Challenge and
opportunity

COVID

As the Covid19 pandemic started the world was rife with turmoil I began to look inward and explored how I could have a positive impact. I developed a new brand focused on social and political projects called Pulsar Campaigns. Under this brand in the wake of a criminal justice uprising I worked with like minded individuals to create:
- Peoples Budget Sacramento
- SacChange
- Branding and Strategy for a local DA race
- GetOffProbationSac

2021

Challenge and
opportunity

COVID

As the Covid19 pandemic began to take hold lockdown made video production difficult. Faced with uncertainty revrnt began to emphasize our web design, messaging, and brand strategy chops in more industries. This lead to projects in the fintech, gamingtech, and hospitality space working with companies like:
- Integrous Financial
- Infinadeck
- Chekt

2021

Refining new skills

As the disastrous pull out of Afghanistan begins I quickly mobilize Pulsar Campaigns to help organize the mess of refugees by creating HelpAfghansNow

Together with NGO's and volunteers we help relocate hundreds of refugees, and facilitate providing aid and resources to Afghans in places like Turkey, India, Pakistan, and the United States.

An effort that continues to this day...

Simultaneously at home as Steve Bannon focuses on infiltrating school board I help a Stanford knight Hennessy scholar alumni train and elect progressive school board leaders by building their brand
Education Justice Academy

2022

Achieving

The fullest year of my life. I worked all year from various countries from the USA to Italy and Turkey. In 2022, I worked with incredible clients, achieving remarkable results for both them and me.

revrnt begins work with UC davis California telling compelling stories around their push to attract great talent as they position themselves as one of the top educational institutions in the world.

I begin work with ProspectSV to help critical energy startups navigate the challenges of branding and market capture as we begin our explosive transition into the clean energy economy.

2023–2025

Infrastructure, Movements and Power

In recent years, I’ve shifted toward building the long-term infrastructure behind campaigns, causes, and coalitions.

I formalized my studio under Rubix Labs, a civic-tech R&D lab building tools like:

- Pulsar Campaigns – a full-featured CRM for campaigns, unions, and grassroots orgs
- Know Your Rep – a lightweight accountability and constituent power tool
- Narrative Lab – a system for monitoring narrative velocity and counter-framing in real time
- ISE (Intelligent Strategic Engine) – an AI-assisted planning engine for progressive organizers

I also helped lead communications and digital strategy for major campaigns like Dr. Flojaune Cofer’s mayoral run—one of the most sophisticated grassroots campaigns in California—and have consulted for progressive insurgents challenging establishment Democrats.

Most recently, I’ve launched the Califa Project, a provocative civic and cultural initiative exploring California’s future through the lens of self-determination, economic sovereignty, and mythic storytelling.

In case I haven't bored you enough with things about me, I'll also tell you what i like :)
